CANtreat – Fundraising

As well as donations from individuals and other charitable foundations CANtreat will be organising a number of events to both increase the profile of the cause and raise funds at the same time.

Here are just a few of the these events that the charity will be using to raise the funds.

Summer 2005

CANtreat will hold its first official event, which will take the form of a Summer Ball held in Cheshire.

The event will be attented by supporters of the charity and be sponsored by high profile organisations making it a night to remember.

Later in the summer will be the inaugural CANtreat Golf Day held at a major course in the North- west.

This corporate event will feature prominent members of the sporting world, adding to the glamour of the day.

May 2006

This time will herald the start of the largest sponsored event that CANtreat will initially undertake.

In association with Bolton Wanderers Football Club, 20 people from both the charity and the club will commence a trek from Khatmandu to the base camp of Mt. Everest.

This arduous task will be supported by various organisations and will be an extremely high profile event.

The trek will be over a duration of 17 days, and will hopefully raise a lot of funds for the charity.
